Mr. Feeney has overall responsibility for realizing GT Nexus’s vision and implementing its profitable growth strategies. He is an accomplished technology chief executive with over 25 years of leadership experience. Most recently, Mr. Feeney was an Operating Executive with Golden Gate Capital and Chief Executive Officer of Inovis, from 2005 until the 2010 merger with GXS, a transaction that created the largest B2B integration services and e-commerce provider with 40,000 customers worldwide. He has also worked as Executive Vice President at CheckFree (acquired by Fiserv), Chief Operating Officer at Clarus Corporation, and Executive Vice President at Dun & Bradstreet Software. Mr. Feeney earned a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
Mr. Cavano has overall responsibility for driving GT Nexus’s strategic direction, for disseminating the company’s track record of innovation and market success, and for guiding key customer, industry and partner relationships. He has over 25 years of experience helping corporations improve their business performance through the intelligent application of technology. Mr. Cavano is founder of TradeCard, Inc., which merged with GT Nexus in 2013. Prior to founding TradeCard in 1999, he was a Vice President at American Management Systems, an international business and information technology consulting firm. Mr. Cavano managed the Corporate Banking Practice of the AMS Finance Industry Group. Featured as one of World Trade Magazine’s 50 most influential people, Mr. Cavano is a frequent speaker and writer on topics concerning international trade and global supply chain management. He holds a BS in Bioscience from Penn State University and an MBA from New York University.
Mr. Rey-Herme leads GT Nexus’s global operations and service groups, which span North America, Europe and Asia. Previously, he served as Executive Vice President of the International Trade Bank at Bank of America. While there, Mr. Rey-Herme led the development and implementation of a global systems platform. He brings over 25 years of financial services experience to GT Nexus, including senior management positions with international consumer and credit card businesses at Citicorp. Mr. Rey-Herme holds a Diplôme in Finance and Tax from ESSCA Grande École (Paris), completed the Executive Program in Strategy & Organization at Stanford Business School and is a CPA (France).
Mr. Zwyhun leads the product development groups and data center operations worldwide. Previously, he was a Vice President of the Corporate Banking Practice at American Management Systems (now CGI Group, Inc.). While at AMS, Mr. Zwyhun led the development of mission critical e-commerce and Internet solutions for many large international banks, including American Express Bank, Bank of America, Wachovia, Comerica and Royal Bank of Canada. He holds a BS in Computer Science from the State University of New York at Binghamton.
Mr. Urban has over 20 years of experience in executive management, operations and sales with global transportation and technology companies. Prior to joining GT Nexus in 1999, Mr. Urban was an executive with American President Lines, Ltd. (APL), one of the world’s largest ocean liner companies and part of the $4.7 billion NOL Group. He held several executive positions with the company in Asia, North and South America. Before APL, Mr. Urban was President of NPSC, a domestic intermodal carrier. Prior to that Mr. Urban was vice president of Sales and Marketing for BRAE Corp., a provider of transportation equipment financing, leasing and management. Mr. Urban began his professional career as an Account Executive for IBM in its large systems group, following his graduation from the Krannert Graduate School of Management at Purdue University, where he earned an MBA. He received his Bachelor of Science in economics from St. Bonaventure University, Olean, NY.
Mr. Stinnes is responsible for GT Nexus’s global products portfolio. He drives product strategy and is responsible for global product management, product marketing and industry solutions marketing. Mr. Stinnes also serves as Managing Director of GT Nexus Europe. Mr. Stinnes has nearly twenty years of experience in the enterprise software industry, building and growing successful products in the supply chain space. Before joining GT Nexus, Mr. Stinnes led product management at Apexon, Inc., a supply chain execution and supplier relationship management company. Prior to Apexon, he was with i2 Technology, Inc., holding posts in Europe and the US, heading i2′s worldwide industry solutions organization for the automotive industry. Mr. Stinnes holds Master of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Stuttgart University, Germany, and the University of Wisconsin.
Mr. Adams runs GT Nexus’s Field Operations teams responsible for working with customers to help them maximize the value they get from the Platform. He has more than twenty years of experience in the software industry focused on supply chain and operational excellence. Prior to joining GT Nexus in 2001, Mr. Adams spent eight years with Accenture in their Transportation practice and before that worked in Tokyo focusing on leveraged lease financing. Mr. Adams received his undergraduate degree from Stanford University in Human Biology and his Masters in International Business from the University of California, San Diego.
Senior Vice President Strategic Initiatives and Chief Knowledge Officer
Mr. Atherton is the senior vice president of strategic initiatives and chief knowledge officer of GT Nexus. He is responsible for strategic projects and planning with an emphasis on corporate knowledge development and sales mobilization. Mr. Atherton works closely with the CEO and the leadership team on various initiatives, both internal and external, that help ensure the company has the knowledge, skills and understanding to operate as a world-class organization. He joined GT Nexus in 2000, and has held positions in a variety of roles, including products, sales, business development and solutions consulting. Most recently, he served as vice president of strategic consulting, working with various prospects, customers and partners on supply chain transformation projects. Mr. Atherton has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography from Middlebury College.
Mr. Ford is co-chief financial officer of GT Nexus. He has more than 25 years of senior financial management experience. Prior to joining GT Nexus, Mr. Ford was Chief Financial Officer at Innodata Isogen, Inc., a NASDAQ listed company, where he led programs that supported a doubling of revenue and a savings of $4 million annually. Previously, he held senior finance and management positions at Medley Global Advisors LLC, Kroll Inc., Telscape International, Inc. and Equifax, Inc., where he was instrumental in completing successful strategy implementations, public offerings, M&A initiatives and corporate turnarounds. Mr. Ford holds a BS in Accounting from Cleveland State University and an MS in Finance from the University of Southern California. He is a CPA and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Mr. Barr is co-chief financial officer of GT Nexus. Mr. Barr served most recently as CFO of SmartAge.com, an application service provider (ASP) with products and services enabling small businesses to sell more effectively through online promotion, distribution and customer management. Prior to joining SmartAge, he served as vice president, finance for New Era of Networks, Inc. (NEON), an e-business integration software company, where he was responsible for domestic mergers and acquisitions. Prior to NEON, Mr. Barr was CFO of Century Analysis, Inc., an enterprise application integration company which was acquired by NEON, and CFO of Sanctuary Woods Multimedia Corp., a software company producing educational and entertainment software. From 1980 to 1994, Mr. Barr served in a variety of operating management and corporate roles for Time Warner Inc. including worldwide business manager – TIME Magazine, director of investor relations for Time Warner and chief operating officer of Hippocrates Partners, Time Inc’s health publishing unit. Mr. Barr has a Masters of Business Administration degree from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Studies from Northwestern University.
Mr. Johnsen is chief marketing officer at GT Nexus, responsible for global marketing and sales at the company. He has more than twenty-five years of sales, marketing and product management experience with Silicon Valley technology companies. Over the past decade Mr. Johnsen has worked with hundreds of leading companies across a range of industries to drive sustainable improvements in commerce, operations, and the global supply chain. Prior to GT Nexus he was with Scopus Technology, an early leader in the customer relationship management software domain. Before joining Scopus, he held regional sales roles at Neuron Data, an expert systems and graphical user interface design technology company. He began his career at Ingres Corporation, a pioneer in relational database technology. Mr. Johnsen has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of California at Davis.
