“CNH recognizes the value of using technology to optimize the performance of their logistics operations,” said Aaron Sasson, CEO of GT Nexus. “I am very impressed with what they have accomplished on GT Nexus and look forward to helping them drive further improvements.”
Currently the platform supports shipments of finished goods and spare parts. Users in logistics, sales, customs, plants and parts depots all log on to the system over the Web to get information they need to support their specific needs, including:
The foundation of the tracking system is the integrated network that resides behind the scenes. GT Nexus, which connects internal CNH systems, transportation carrier systems, brokers and forwarders to a single platform and standardizes the data into a common format, providing status dashboards, performance reports, exception alerts, plant and depot planning and documentation.
“We are planning to expand the work we started with GT Nexus to other markets and processes, in order to gain visibility and improve control of our global shipments through the application of a standard approach,” added Noach.
